Good performance last night Bellaire Band let's keep up the great work!
For the week of Aug 31 – Sep 4:
Mon, Aug 31 6:00 – 8:00: full band rehearsal
Tues, Sep 1 4:30 – 6:30: full band rehearsal
7:00 – 8:00: first BBPO meeting of the year -- all parents welcome! In the band hall.
Wed, Sep 2 2:30 – 5:30: full band rehearsal (this is an early dismissal day)
6:00 – 8:00: Bellaire Open House (friendly reminder, not a band function per se)
Thurs, Sep 3 FOOTBALL GAME vs Washington at Delmar Stadium
Uniform: White T-Shirt, khaki shorts (length must meet school dress code), white socks, tennis shoes – same as Aug 27 (we will wear red polo band shirts if they arrive in time)
BBPO will again provide a meal to the students: sandwich, chips, drink.
3:45-4:15: rehearsal on field (no front ensemble)
4:15-5:00: change into uniforms, load the truck, eat
5:00-5:15: inspection
5:15-5:45: leave for stadium
7:00 pm: Game starts
9:30/10:00-ish: return to school
Fri, Sep 4 no after school rehearsal
After Sep 3, the standard after school rehearsal schedule will be as follows:
Mondays 6:00 – 8:30 pm full band rehearsal (but no rehearsal on Labor Day, Sep 7)
Tuesdays 4:30 – 6:30 pm full band rehearsal
Wednesdays no after school rehearsal
Thursdays 4:30 – 6:30 pm full band rehearsal
Fridays no after school rehearsal
This schedule will change occasionally (and you will be notified via newsletter and webpage, www.bellaireband.org), depending on football game days and other events.
