Mighty Cardinal Band

Saturday, our Mighty Cardinal Band attended the University of Houston v. Colorado State.

Our Band was the most disciplined; had the best spirit and looked far superior to all of the other bands.  Additionally, the band played very well and had fun with the bands around them in the stands.  And, the Student Staff also worked hard and did a fantastic job in such a large and crowded venue.  Our band marched to a cadence and plowed right through other lessor bands as we quickly traveled to our staging area before the game.  It was great!

Several of the U of H students running the event commented on our group and clearly the Bellaire Band left a huge footprint behind when we left the stadium.

As the head director I must say that I've never been more proud of a group of young people.  Not once was there a discipline issue and even in the heat there was no complaining or negative attitudes.

Thank you to all of our parents and to those who were able to go along and help with the trip, ice, water, equipment and moral support.

We will make a great impression and entertain the entire Town of Bellaire during the March-A-Thon on the 29th.

Again, I can only say how proud I am to be the Director of the Bellaire Band.
