Bio of Jessica Meng

Ms. Meng comes to us, most recently, from Midland, Texas where she was the Assistant Band Director at Midland High School for several years. In addition, she performs with the Midland Odessa Symphony and Chorale in the trumpet section and is the Jazz Director with University of Texas Permian Basin.

Ms. Meng holds a Bachelor of Music from University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Music from Indian University-Bloomington. The Midland High School Band has received superior ratings in Marching UIL and Concert UIL for the past 10 years.

Ms. Meng was a member of the Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps from 1994-1996 and Phantom Regiment in 1997. Please welcome Jessica Meng to Band Family and stay tuned for additional information concerning band camp etc.
